Obtaining a Copy of Your Driving Record

If you need a copy of your driving record, you may obtain one by mail, by telephone or in person.

Fees:

A $15.00 fee per driving record is required. This fee is payable by cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

Processing Time:

Please allow ten (10) business days for processing. If you obtain your driving record in person, it will be processed while you wait.

Obtaining a Driving Record by Mail:

• Send a written request that includes your name, date of birth, license number, Massachusetts address and the appropriate fee, made payable to the Registry of Motor Vehicles, to:

Please note, if you currently reside out-of-state, indicate in your request where you would like your driving record mailed.
